The client's wish for more storage and less clutter involved streamlined ways to obscure items such as necessary office equipment. This renovation of an old loft in New York City featured wooden built-ins spanning the entire length of the space. We provided built-ins which included storage with a bed above, shelving units, kitchen cabinetry and a full bedroom. The maple cabinetry, marked with vertical red lines, adds rhythm to the space. Bookshelves have panels that can hide office equipment, keeping the room tidy.
